About Neda Behnam
SoHo Boutique guest, New York designer Neda Behnam, is an expert goldsmith with 23 years of jewelry experience. Her background encompasses bench work, design, manufacturing, marketing, sales, the study of ancient goldsmithing techniques and antique jewelry reproductions. While attending Fashion Institute of Technology to get her jewelry design degree, Neda apprenticed with a designer based in SoHo New York who taught her the ancient art of granulation and working in 22-karat gold.
Neda travels around the world and collaborates with prestigious goldsmith colleges to design a unique and collectible line of jewelry. She extensively looks for upcoming trends in fashion and color to reflect in all of her pieces. Dedication and passion has driven Neda to create this collection for ShopNBC customers that is superior in quality, design and value.
But the influence of Neda’s creativity reaches far beyond those who wear her jewelry. As a breast cancer survivor, Neda is extremely committed to supporting charities focused on research for a cure, and she sits on several boards of directors for various causes. In launching her new company and developing her signature line, Neda wanted to create a vehicle that would support those in need. A portion of SoHo Boutique sales will benefit this cause.
